Christopher Russell, Physician Assistant

Christopher Russell grew up most of his life in Bend. He graduated from Bend High School in 1997. He then attended Willamette University in Salem and received his Bachelor of Science in Biology and Chemistry in 2001. He worked at Emanuel Hospital in Portland for 2 years in the Level 1 trauma unit as a certified nursing assistant. He was accepted to Pacific University in 2003, and received his Masters of Science Physician Assistant Studies, graduating with a 4.0 GPA in 2005. After working in Bend for almost 2 years he decided to move out to this clinic in August of 2007 to serve the medically underserved. He has beautiful wife, Lallie, and three busy boys. He enjoys skiing, mountain biking, photography, and being a dad. His faith in God is an important aspect of his everyday life, in and out of the clinic.

Christopher Russell PA-C specializes in Travel Medicine. He is one of the few providers in the State of Oregon whom can administer special required vaccines like yellow fever. His knowledge of required immunizations, travel tips, and prevention of common illnesses while traveling can insure that you are safe and stay healthy for your adventure.

La Pine Community Health Center has the necessary immunization form so when you leave our office you are not only educated on how to stay healthy you will also have the documentation you need to depart with. La Pine Community Health Center offers competitive prices, as insurances will not pay for certain immunizations and with appointments available, we can help you get the most out of your experience. Please call our office and schedule at least 6 weeks prior to your expected travel date.
