MEDICAL SERVICES PROVIDED

La Pine Community Health Center, LLC provides primary care services for patients including diagnostic, treatment and follow-up care of acute, episodic and chronic diseases which are common to medical practice and within the skill range of the primary care providers. Diagnosis includes gathering and documenting medical and social history, physical examination and other means of assessing health status, such as laboratory testing, radiological examinations, and pulmonary function testing. Treatment includes provision of and/or prescription for care, prescription for medications, referral and/or consultation as required to treat a given patient’s condition. This also includes basic counseling and health maintenance.

X-RAY & LAB Services:

Our CLIA certified, moderately complex, lab provides the ability for many labs and tests to be performed on-site. Other tests are performed at our reference laboratory. Our on-site XRAY machine allows us to obtain immediate information about an acute injury. We have 3 techs capable of providing these services.

Patients may have their physicians’ order tests and the draw can be done at our facility. Results will be forwarded to the ordering provider’s office.

We provide basic laboratory services and are CLIA certified for Moderate Complex laboratory analysis including:

Chemical examinations of urine by stick methods
Microscopic examination of urine sediment
Rapid testing for Mononucleosis
Erythrocyte sedimentation rates
Blood glucose
Influenza A & B
Hemoglobin A1C
Screening of occult blood
Pregnancy tests
Test for pinworm
Streptococcal throat infection testing
Wet prep
Illegal drug screening
Complete Blood Count with automated differential
Primary culturing for transmittal to the St. Charles Medical Center Laboratory

Travel Medicine:

If you are planning to travel to a tropical region or Third World Country for business, pleasure or humanitarian purposes then La Pine Community Health Center is here for you and your healthcare.
Christopher Russell PA-C specializes in Travel Medicine. He is one of the few providers in the State of Oregon whom can administer special required vaccines like yellow fever. His knowledge of required immunizations, travel tips, and prevention of common illnesses while traveling can insure that you are safe and stay healthy for your adventure.

La Pine Community Health Center has the necessary immunization form so when you leave our office you are not only educated on how to stay healthy you will also have the documentation you need to depart with. La Pine Community Health Center offers competitive prices, as insurances will not pay for certain immunizations and with appointments available, we can help you get the most out of your experience. Please call our office and schedule at least 6 weeks prior to your expected travel date.
