Dr. Kari Tyne has made the move from St. Paul, MN to Central Oregon. A native Wisconsinite, she attended undergraduate and medical school at the University of Wisconsin, in Madison WI. She completed her residency in Family Medicine at Riverside Family Medicine in Virginia, and a fellowship in Women’s Health at the VA Medical Center in Portland, OR.
Dr. Tyne’s interests include public health, women’s health, office based gynecology, and general family medicine. She would like to see La Pine Community Health Center headed toward a Patient Centered Medical Home and to encourage people to become more involved in their medical decision making.
